Tutu Making Adventure

Well, being a stay-at-home-mom has allowed me time to do some of the things I have always wanted to try.  I decided to start with something easy, and with football season coming up I thought what better than tutus?

Up first, GEAUX Tigers!!

It's not the greatest, but hey...It's my first attempt ;)

Now, on to Project Who Dat!

This one came out much better :)

I must say, I am pretty proud of myself :)

A Day at Kid Kountry

Okay, so I am not off to the greatest start with this blog.  I am going to try to do better.  The kiddos are doing so well at school!  They really love it, and seem to be learning so much.  I took a few pics today as I was dropping them off.  Now you can see where they are spending their days.

PS- If you click on the pictures they will enlarge so you can see them better.

This is Gannon's classroom...WOW, PK 4!!!  Where has the time gone??

This is their roll check.  Gannon moves his name when he gets to school to let everyone know that he is there.  He also moves it back every day when he leaves.  He is getting so big *tear*.

This is where he sits.  He is so proud of his spot.  He is also really excited that the teacher just moved him next to his friend, Coltin.

He has his own chairback with all his supplies.  He is so excited everyday to show me what he has done.

This is where they do "Circle Time".  They talk about letters, numbers, shapes, weather, calendar info, etc.

Their names are by their letters on the alphabet board.  He thinks it's funny that he is a G just like a gorilla :)

This is their center area.  They play here, and also have some fabulous artwork displayed.

This is Gannon's "Odd Ostrich"

Welcome to the PK 2 Classroom :)

When Austyn first started school, she was very unsure about the whole thing.  The rug on the floor had...you guessed it...a PIG!  So every morning, I would set her (and Piggie) down on the pig, and it helped calm her down :)

Her room is much less interactive than Gannon's.  Two-year-olds are much easier to overstimulate, so they need a calmer environment.

Austyn comes home everyday with art projects that are helping her learn colors, shapes, and letters.  She is very proud of all her work!  Everyday when I get her, she can't wait to show me her papers and tell me all about them.

Overall, they are having a great experience here.  The teachers are so great with them, and the munchkins both talk about them and ask for them at home.  That makes for a happy Mommy!

That's it for now.  I just wanted to give you a glimpse into their school day :)
